ABOUT

I am Tamar Dgani, a textile designer, hand weaver, and artist based in Tel Aviv.
I graduated from the Textile Design Department at Shenkar in 2020.
My work explores the relationship between material and time, bringing together traditional craft techniques and contemporary perspectives.
Through the deconstruction of familiar elements and the creation of unexpected connections, I seek to uncover new meanings within everyday materials.
My practice navigates the space between beauty and imperfection, transformation and preservation, revealing the potential hidden in simple, often overlooked forms.
I work from my independent studio in Tel Aviv, and my work has been exhibited in galleries and exhibitions in Israel and abroad.
